Claire Power Murphy’s autobiography “Preserved to Serve” earned the Female Autobiography of the Year Award in 2008 and placed as a finalist in the Religion: Christian Inspiration category at the National Best Books Awards. In 2010, “Preserved to Serve” was also a finalist in three International Book Awards categories: Best New Non-Fiction, Health: General and Self-Help Motivational. The writer and educator’s work has granted her the opportunity to relay the message of resilience, and that in the midst of adversity, success can be achieved.
